I charge $100 per hour, but I can fix any computer in an hour. And if I can't, that is my problem, not yours. Many tests and procedures take more than an hour to complete so it may take a few days to finish the repairs if there is something particularly nasty about the computer's issue. Price does not include parts if something needs to be replaced, data recovery (I need those files), software (you got from your neighbor's friend) or personal configuration and is subject to the "is this reasonable" test. Owner may need to provide software if reinstallation is required. If I can not fix the computer a $25 evaluation fee may apply, but there may be no charges.
Hello, My name is Andrew Corbett.
I started using computers in 1979 and
have worked in the IT field since 2000.
I have worked for several companies, large and small, including Merrill Lynch, John L Scott and Snoqualmie Valley Hospital. I have a Microsoft Systems Engineer Certification for Windows NT, a Microsoft Professional Certification for Windows 2000, and good manners from parents that would not tolerate anything else.

Get your computer fixed and keep your limbs
If you are 10 years older than I am, you qualify for a senior discount of $2.00 per hour off for every additional year you are older, greater than 10. So, if you are 20 years older, you get a $20 discount. If you are 30 years older, $40/hour discount. 40 years older $60/hour off. The equation is [(your age - my age - 10) x 2] I am 52 so any mathematician will tell you if you are 112 or older, I will fix your computer for free. This discount applies to individuals for repairs, not systems, network or security work for businesses.
Fine print: Is that legal? I will have to find out, but that's how I want to do it.
I give discounts to charities on a case by case basis. Amounts may vary. I am most likely to give larger discounts to Children's charities, Veteran's charities and Financial Hardship situations.
